The 1999 stlwebdev.org Web Site Awards Ceremony was held on February 15, 2000. Below you will find thumbnail pictures of the ceremony.

Attendees sign in and gather in the atrium around the food.


The ceremonies began with founding member Allan Trick introducing "Webmaster of Ceremonies" Jeff Barczewski.


Allan Trick presented the awards for the "Most Fun" category.


In the category of Fastest Loading sites, Joe Grant made the presentations (the second place winner was not present and is therefore not pictured).


Java User Group leader Mark Balbes presented awards in the "Most Innovative" category (we were not able to get a picture of the third place winner).


The awards for the "Best Use of Graphics" category were presented by former STLWebDev board member Caroline Wyman (the second place winner is not pictured).



Former STLWebDev board member Kendal Walton presented awards for the "Most Usable" site category.


Kurt Ackermann, former STLWebDev board member, presented the Best Non-Corporate Site awards (the second place winner is not pictured).



STLWebDev board member and co-chair of the awards committee Lisa Balbes presented the awards for Best Corporate Site of the Year.


A drawing was held at the conclusion of the meeting for a number of door prizes. The first place winners are pictured.
